Aims and objectives

  1. To increase access to legal services and advice for the rural and indigenous people of Western Queensland.
  2. A consistent high profile presence of Legal Aid Queensland's other legal services in rural and indigenous communities.
  3. Increased access for community workers to legal information and resources.
  4. Integration of legal and community services to ensure more effective delivery of services.
  5. Delivery of culturally appropriate services to indigenous communities.
  6. Delivery of a variety of services to meet the diverse needs of rural communities.
  7. Greater choice of services and solicitors for people in rural and indigenous communities.
